| Extensible jQuery WYSIWYG Editor – CLEditor Posted: 19 Aug 2010 10:02 AM PDT CLEditor is a lightweight jQuery plugin for adding WYSIWYG HTML editors on web pages. The plugin works by converting a standard textarea element and it is cross browser. It is fully customizable like adding/removing/updating controls, enable/disable the use of CSS and much more. Also, the WYSIWYG editor can be controlled with a set of methods provided. CLEditor is very well-documented and comes with optional add-ons like "table plugin (visually displays tables inserted)" and "icon plugin (for seeing the smileys inserted)". The icon set is very ideal to be used in web applications as it covers the most used ones like actions, documents, player controls, charts and much more. The set comes as 32*32px in transparent PNG format. It is also mentioned that the "#1" is a sign that we can expect more icons from WooThemes in the future (looking forward to them).
